Game Informer’s 25 Most Anticipated Games for 2023

The first part of the Final Fantasy VII reboot got us excited back in 2020 and made the wait for part two all the more excruciating. While Final Fantasy XVI is slated for release in the first half of 2023, barring any delays, we should be able to round out the year with the second part of the three-part Final Fantasy VII Remake project. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth continues the story of Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, Barret and the rest of the legendary cast. With Square Enix making changes to the established lore through this remake series, fans aren’t quite sure what to expect narratively, but if the gameplay and quality is anything like the Final Fantasy VII Remake, count us among them.
