GARDAI is investigating two sexual assault suspects near Sligo Town on Saturday night.
Police would like to speak to anyone in the Ballydoogan, Oakfield and Maugheraboy areas of Sligo “who has noticed any activity that has caught their attention, whether they think it is related or not. ”
They also urged any passerby with dash-cam footage between 8pm and 10pm to provide them.
Gardai also appealed directly to any taxi drivers working at the time who had booked tickets from Sligo to Manorhamilton to come.
A spokesman said: “Gardai in Sligo is appealing for witnesses in connection with a number of attacks that are believed to have occurred near Sligo Town last night, Saturday 22 January 2022.
“Gardai wants to speak to anyone in the Ballydoogan, Oakfield and Maugeraboy areas of Sligo, between 8pm and 10pm, and who notices any activity that catches their attention, whether they think it is related or not.

“Any passerby who may have passed through these areas and may have dash-cam footage is also asked to provide this information to Gardaí.
“Also, Gardaí is urging taxi drivers who were working at the time and who may have charged from Sligo to Manorhamilton, to go ahead.
“Anyone with any information regarding this is asked to contact Sligo Garda Station on 071 915700, Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
“Investigations are underway.”
