Gardaí seized drugs and vehicles, including two speedboats, with a total value of 681,000 euros

Drugs and vehicles worth more than 680,000 euros were seized during a search in Dublin, Gardai said.

The search of a property in Dublin 1 was carried out around 3.30pm on Wednesday as part of a planned operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs and anti-social behavior in the area.

In the course of the search, Gardai seized herbal cannabis with an estimated value of 652,000 euros, cannabis resin with an estimated value of 25,000 euros and cocaine with an estimated value of 4,000 euros.

The total estimated value of the drugs seized is €681,000; The drugs are now sent in for analysis.

Gardaí also seized 12 Scrambler motorcycles, three electric scooters and two speedboats during the search operation.

Three men in their 20s were arrested at the scene and taken to Store Street Garda Station.

Gardai, affiliated with the Community Policing Unit at Store Street Garda Station, conducted the search with assistance from the Dublin North Central Metropolitan Area Drugs Unit.

It’s part of Operation Tara, an enhanced national anti-drug strategy launched by Garda Commissioner Drew Harris last year.
