DAWN French led heartbreaking tributes to co-star Gary Waldhorn, Dibley’s Representative.
The 78-year-old actor, who played Councilor David Horton on the BBC sitcom, sadly passed away on Monday.
Dawn, who was cast alongside Gary on the hit BBC sitcom, posted a photo of the tragic star alongside a heartbreaking emoji.
Gary is the sixth main actor in the movie Dibley who have died tragically over the past eight years.
His son Josh said in a statement today: “Classically trained, it is the theater where he truly thrived and he leaves behind an entertaining legacy that has seen him often Visit the boards of Broadway, the West End and our living room on the phone!
“He left behind two nephews, Cooper and Bayley, and son Josh.
“We will all miss him terribly.”

Gary is known for his British sitcoms, most notably The Vicar of Dibley.
He also played Richard Beamish in All at No 20, and Lionel Bainbridge in Brush Strokes.
And he has provided voiceovers for commercials including Green Flag, Kwik Fit, Branston and Marmite.
Waldhorn is a successful Shakespeare actor and has performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company, including in Many Ado About Nothing.
BBC Comedy said: “Gary was an incredibly talented actor remembered by us for his numerous appearances on some of the nation’s most beloved BBC programmes, and of course as a councilor. fellow David Horton in The Vicar Of Dibley.
“Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.”
Fans have also paid tribute to the iconic star on social media.
One person wrote on Twitter: “My deepest condolences to Gary Waldhorn’s family and friends.
“I am honored to have known his talent as David Horton and God has given me the ability to learn English as a second language. Rest assured that he has brought joy to many people.”
Another said: “Sad to note that another famous and influential cast BBC TV Comedy Dibley’s agent, Gary Waldhorn, has passed away. “
A third added: “Very sad news indeed. Best known for playing David Horton in The Dibley’s Representative, Gary Waldhorn is one of our finest British actors – brilliant in every role. the role he played.
“Can’t think of anyone better to play the haughty Mr. Horton for Dawn French’s vivacious agent. RIP.”
Gary’s co-star in The Vicar of Dibley, Emma Chambers, also sadly turned 53 in 2018.
From 1994 to 2007 Emma played Alice Tinker in the hit BBC comedy – co-starring Dawn French.
On 24 February 2018, Emma’s management service announced that she had passed away of natural causes.
