Peter Sawkins shares travel vlog from vacation in Morocco

Great Bake Off UK winner Peter Sawkins has received rave reviews after he posted a video holding hands with a mysterious man during Pride Month.

The 21-year-old baker – who rose to fame as the winner of the Channel 4 series of contests in 2020 – shared the video with 251,000 followers on Instagram earlier this week.

Peter posted a touching clip of him going on vacation before showing off his new love with the moment they held hands sweetly.

The baker accompanies the video with Stephen Sanchez’s love song Until I Found You.

Peter wrote about ‘wanderlust’ in the footnote, in which he wrote about the concept: “A strong desire or urge to wonder or travel the world. Collect memories, not objects.”

He continued with the post’s caption: “You only live once, and when you do it right, once is enough. Live for the moments that you can’t put into words. If not now then when any?”

The clip – which captures him touring an outdoor area abroad, looking at trees and water features – has been flooded with comments from fans who were moved by the video.

The post prompted messages of support in the comments, including from some of his Bake Off alums colleagues, notably some of those who competed with him on the show.

Laura Adlington, runner-up in the 11th series, wrote: “Love this and love you!” While colleague Lottie Bedlow said: “This makes me very happy.”

John Whaite, the 2012 Bake Off winner, wrote: “Oh this.” He included the heart emoji in his answer. Rahul Mandal, the show’s 2018 winner, said: “Love this one.”

There were also plenty of comments from fans, including one follower who wrote in response to the post: “Congratulations to you Peter.” They included the pride flag emoji in their comments.

“Congratulations Peter!” wrote to a follower who included a rainbow emoji. Another fan said: “Happy Pride”. “Just beautiful Peter. Love is love and this is a powerful move,” one fan wrote.

Another said: “Thank you for living your authentic life – you are already an inspiration to so many people just because you are, and we are so lucky you chose to share it with us. world.”
