GAMERS have discovered a clever loophole that will save them a ton of money ahead of launch on PlayStation’s brand new PS Plus subscription service.
The trick allows PS4 and PS5 users to get access to the top-tier PS Plus Premium for £49.99/$59.99 instead of £99.99/$119.99.
The new service is scheduled to start in June of this year.
It will be broken down into three tiers, with the best of the bunch, PS Plus Premium, containing more than 740 games.
But savvy users have discovered a loophole that allows them to get the premium service for the same price as the cheapest Essential plan.
That’s because Sony has promised existing PS Now subscribers that when the changes take place, they’ll be upgraded to PS Plus Premium without increasing their current subscription fees.
Thing is, an annual subscription to PS Now currently costs £49.99 / $59.99, meaning you can effectively buy it today to get PS Plus Premium at a bargain price.
Sony appears to have hidden PS Now purchase links from its online store, but Twitter users have Wario64 showed how to do it.
First, you need to be on a computer and sign in to your PlayStation account through your web browser.
A box should appear on the right that says PS Now Recurring Subscription Payment.
Some people are even stocking up on PS Now annual passes to use for years to come.
