GENIUS Invocation is the new TCG introduced in Genshin Impact in the latest update.
While the character cards you get from winning duels against playable characters are the stars, good support is required to win.
If you want the best decks in Genius Invocation, you need to build it with lots of support cards.
Here are the support cards we recommend for Genius Invocation in Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact Genius Invocation: Best support cards
This list is not in any particular order, and the right card for your deck depends on what other cards you use.
All of these cards are useful, however, and at least one of each should be in every well-made deck.
You can have a maximum of four support cards on the field at one time, but they have a limited duration.
Here’s what we recommend.
For the cost of two elemental dice, Katheryne turns a character swap into a swift action once per turn.
Usually a switch ends a turn, but Katheryne allows you to trigger reactions more reliably.
The card stays in play until the end of the game, so it’s a fantastic investment.
This card suits Katheryne perfectly. It also costs two elemental cubes and remains active until the end of the game.
It reduces the cost of a single character swap by one die per turn and gives you one free swap.
If you pair the two, you can level up the combos.
While the real Timmie isn’t overly helpful, it’s great to have his map in your back pocket.
It costs nothing and disappears after three turns, leaving behind an Omni Cube that gives you an extra boost that turn.
Much like Timmie, Liben is free to play and when activated lets you draw two cards and generate two Omni Cubes.
To do this, Liben needs to collect three different Elemental Cubes at the end of the Year Round, so you’ll need to use tactics to achieve this.
The Jade Vault is a permanent feature that costs one die and gives you two Elemental Cubes that belong to your active character.
This provides a good base for any attacks you may have planned and reduces the RNG involved.
Knights of Favonius Library
This is another way to manipulate dice, and like Jade Chamber, it costs one die and stays on the board.
Playing this card allows you to reroll your elemental dice, giving you a second chance on all of your rolls.
Liyue harbor wharf
The Dockyard costs two dice and is a permanent structure with a simple function.
At the end of each turn, you can draw two additional cards, giving you more options for future attacks.
Paimon is one of the more expensive cards and costs three dice, but generates two omni dice that last two turns.
This gives you a lot of flexibility and reduces your reliance on luck.
Liu Su only costs one die and will recharge your active character after a switch if it has no energy point.
This happens two rounds in a row and is a good investment at low cost.
Favonius Cathedral/Wangshu Inn
Both cards cost two dice and heal your team. Cathedral heals your active character for two HP and Inn heals your most injured inactive character.
If you don’t have healing abilities or shield abilities in your deck, food and support cards are the only ways to keep your characters alive.
