Genshin Impact Genius Invocation: First Round Kill Deck Guide

A CRITICAL hit on the first turn of Genshin Impact’s TCG, Genius Invocation can give you a huge advantage for the rest of the game.

The best decks consist of a series of character cards, event cards, and support cards, each with their own role.

However, in the competitive scene, people have already built decks to take out their opponents in the first round.

Here are the best critical hit decks in Genshin Impact’s Genius Invocation.

Genshin Impact TCG: First Round Kill Deck in Genius Invocation

The First Round Kill Deck, better known by its acronym FRK, threatens the opponent by taking a character card in the opening round.

If all three character cards fall, the game ends, putting you in a very strong starting position.

It also constrains the opponent’s strategy from the start and thwarts their typical plans.

The three character cards used are the Fatui Pyro agent, Yoimiyaand colleagues. The rest of the deck consists of the following cards:

• 2x flower sidewinders
• 2x paid in full
• 2x Silver Ring of Lucky Dog
• 2x Liyue Port Wharf
• 1x Library of the Knights of Favonius
• 2x Favonius Cathedral
• 1x tubby
• 2x Elemental Resonance – Fervent Flames
• 2x Elemental Resonance – Woven Flames
• 2x shift change
• 2x toss up
• 1x strategy
• 1x leave it to me!
• 2x send
• 2x Nordic smoked chicken
• 1x Mondstadt Hash Brown
• 1x lotus flower crisp
• 2x mushroom pizza

This deck has a strong psychological element that can terrify human players.

The threat of a critical first strike will panic opponents and disrupt their planned attack.

Genshin Impact TCG: How to use the first round kill deck in Genius Invocation

For a successful FRK you must have the following cards in your hand:

• Floral Sidewinder or Elemental Resonance – Fiery Flames

You will also need at least one of the following cards:

• Northern smoked chicken
• Elemental Resonance – Woven Flames
• Alternating shifts

First round kill with Fatui Pyro Agent

To get a critical hit with Fatui Pyro Agent, you need to roll five Pyro Cubes and have Northern Smoked Chicken or Woven Flames.

Use your standard attack twice and then your elemental blast to take out a character.

You attack twice with the standard attack, then with your Elemental Burst.

This is a commonly used tactic against human opponents, and so counters such as B. Xingqiu decks that you should be careful with.

First round kill with Collei and Yoimiya

With Collei and Yoimiya, you’ll need Floral Sidewinder and at least one copy of Northern Smoked Chicken, Woven Flames, or Changing Shifts.

You must also have two Pyro Dice and three Dendro Dice available.

Start with Yoimiya’s ability and follow up with one of her basic attacks. Then switch to Collei and use Floral Sidewinder. End phase damage should finish off your target.

There is another way to use Collei and Yoimiya that draws on Fervent Flames and Northern Smoked Chicken, Woven Flames, or Changing Shifts.

For this one you need six dice – three Pyro and three Dendro.

Start again with Yoimiya’s ability and basic attack, then switch to Collei.

This time use Elemental Resonance and then Collei’s ability. Again, the damage of the end phase should be enough.

If the plan doesn’t work, you still have a chance to win long-term with your Pyro Agent.

Essen, Favonius Cathedral and Lucky Dog’s silver circlet will keep him alive for a long time.

Pyro Agent’s skill should slowly erode the health of your opponent’s cards, leaving them vulnerable to Yoimiya and Collei’s attacks or a Pyro Agent’s Elemental Burst.
