Former TOWIE star Georgia Kousoulou has revealed she was afraid to wean her little boy Brodie from solid food as she convinced himself “he was going to choke and die”.
The 30-year-old reality TV star became a first-time parent to fiancé Tommy Mallett in May 2021.
And straight Georgia has cemented itself as a counter-voice to the constant images of “perfect” kids and parents on social media.
She took her social media followers on the journey as she opened up to embracing her post-baby body while venting her frustration at other new moms getting back in shape.
And she’s been brutally honest about her proposed C-section recovery.

But the final hurdle for the new mom came when little Brodie turned six months old and she started to introduce him to solid foods.
Babies get most of their energy and nutrients from breast milk or formula for the first year, but introducing small amounts of soft, healthy foods is recommended from six months.
“Oh god, all that choking and dying,” Georgia said OK! Magazine.
“I really thought he might die. I was really scared. You’re just getting used to doing what you do with bottles, and the next moment… you have to give food.
“I’m much better now. It just takes time, it really does.”
The new mum made the admission ahead of the release of her six-part ITVBe series, which will follow her and Tommy as they navigate the ups and downs of parenting for the first time in Tommy & Georgia: Baby Steps.
Georgia has also admitted that Tommy nicknamed her “the rule book” when it comes to babies’ bedtimes because of her regimented approach.
She confessed to the publication that she’s a “control freak,” admitting, “I’m very regimented. I’ve found that babies actually need that routine and structure.”
But she also understands that she has to slack off a bit. She said: “That’s the thing about motherhood, you expect to know everything and do everything but it’s impossible because I’ve never done it before.
“And you can’t compare yourself to moms on Instagram,” she added.
Georgia said she’s relaxing into her post-baby figure as she revealed her refreshingly positive approach to postpartum body image.
“I train, but it’s not my priority,” she said.
“I’m happy the way I am and proud of what my body has achieved. One minute I want to eat good and healthy and count calories and then I’m over it. It’s really hard.”
Georgia and her husband-to-be Tommy plan to tie the knot after businessman Tommy bent the knee while vacationing in Mexico in February.
Tommy shared the news on his social media page, poking fun at how long it took him to propose.
The multi-millionaire trainer brand owner typed, “I got the job done (now stop wondering when I’ll do it).”
But Georgia revealed she’s in no rush to walk down the aisle as her priorities now are little Brodie, who will soon be one.
“It won’t be this year, but hopefully we can film the wedding,” says Georgia. “I don’t know anyone who can plan that quickly – but I’ll have my moment.”
