The Apple AirPods were easy – to set up, use and love.

And the AirPods Pro lose none of that magic. They just add a few handy extras (and £90).

The noise-cancellation is the big sell for AirPods Pro and it works well. The effect is impressive and easy to activate.

Of course, not everyone needs noise canceling. If you live the quiet life somewhere beautiful and peaceful you can save the £90 and spend it on a new pair of walking shoes.

As with all of Apple’s pro gadgets, they just aren’t for everyone. Therefore the name.

Likewise, some true audiophiles need decent over-ear headphones – and the AirPods Pro can never match real cans in terms of sound quality.

But for their size, price, and target audience, they’re pretty much perfect.

These are the “pro” headphones that many can afford and almost everyone can enjoy. They’re a relatively inexpensive way to improve your audio gaming.

The noise cancellation alone is worth the extra £90 if you lead a busy and noisy lifestyle. The boosted sound only sweetens the deal.

I have no complaints about the AirPods so far, other than the fact that I probably wear them so much that people around me think I hate them.

But I do not care! I can’t hear their complaints thanks to that sweet, sweet noise-cancellation. Ahh.
