Get a free P1-XL droid in Star Wars: The Old Republic to mark Star Wars Day

It’s May 4th and many everywhere have been celebrating the day that has been adopted as Star Wars Day. Naturally, Star Wars The Old Republic is joining the celebration, and there’s a special gift for anyone who registers by the 10th, an orange P1-XL droid.

This droid serves as a mini-pet for each of your characters and will be sent to your in-game mailbox after you opt-in during the promotional period. Other promos are also running at the moment, including the Pirate Incursion event now until May 10th. This event can also bring you other mini-pets like the Kath Hound, or if you’re looking for a new mount there’s a Walker and a Kath Hound to make yours. However you spend your time, there are rewards to be had.

Galactic Season 2: Shadows of the Underworld started yesterday and will run for the next few weeks. The season whetherObjectives include the daily Influencing the Galaxy or the weekly March Across the Galaxy, where you can earn 25,000 Personal Conquest Points towards your Legacy for each completion. The other weekly objectives vary and this week include finding artifacts, using your seeker droid to discover artifacts on the planets of Tatooine, Alderaan, Hoth and Makeb. Lead the Kalamazoo frontline to complete non-ranked Warzone matches. If you win, you get double XP. Fielding Loyalty is for those who complete missions as a Trooper or Agent.
