AFCON’s Group C ended in a whirlwind as Gabon drew 2-2 with Morocco and the Comoros beat Ghana 3-2.
The result means Morocco wins the group, Gabon goes on as runners-up and the Comoros can advance to the next round as one of the best third-place finishers.
But Ghana is OUT OF AFCON after picking up just one point from the group, meaning Arsenal will retain the services of star midfielder Thomas Partey sooner than they thought.

Ghana’s journey to AFCON came to an end after they were defeated by the top team Comoros.
As a result, they finished bottom of the table with one point.
Gabon advances to the knockout round
The Panthers put on a stellar performance throughout the game and fully deserved their spot in the knockout stages.
Boupendza and Allevinah have both been excellent so far in the competition and are certainly people to watch as Gabon progresses.
Morocco tops the C table
The 2-2 draw against Gabon means that Morocco remains at the top of Group C.
Their second-half performance proved that they are a much-appreciated force in the league with stellar performances from players like Boufal and Hakimi.
