Ghostwire: Tokyo is the next game from Tango Games by Shinji Mikami, the developer of The Evil Within. It was first announced as a PlayStation exclusive in Bethesda’s E3 Conference 2019. Since then, Bethesda and all studios under its umbrella have acquired by Microsoftbut the game is still launching as console timed exclusive on PS5 and PC.
The title is an action-adventure game where the player will have to face paranormal threats known as The Visit. These creatures take the form of a child wearing a yellow raincoat, a bride who has never been married, and other manifestations of loss and separation.
PlayStation has a one-year exclusivity on Ghostwire: Tokyo, so it won’t arrive on other consoles until at least March 25, 2023.
We have ours Ghostwire’s gameplay first look: Tokyo during the PlayStation 5 2020 reveal event, but it’s been pretty quiet since then. Last summer, the game was delayed to this year to ‘protect the health’ of the people working in the game.
