Giovanni returns with a Shadow Regice in Pokémon Go

IT’S another packed week in Pokémon Go featuring three events.

Whether you want to capture the elemental monkeys or defeat Giovanni, there’s something for everyone.

A Pokemon will have a shiny debut, and a popular starter will be the focus of the Spotlight Hour.

Here’s everything that’s happening in Pokémon Go from March 20-26.

Litten is in the spotlight

This week’s Spotlight Hour takes place on Tuesday, March 21, 2023out of 6 p.m local time.

Litten will appear more frequently during the Spotlight Hour, succeeding another popular starter, Rowlett.

Litten is a three-stage evolution, making this the perfect opportunity to get the fearsome Incineroar.

You’ll also earn double Stardust for every Pokemon you evolve that hour, even if it’s not Litten or Torracat.

An Everyday Hero and Team Rocket takeover begins

These events start on Tuesday, March 21, 2023at 10 am local time and end on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 8 p.m local time.

As part of the event, Pansear, Pansage and Panpour will be available worldwide.

Shiny Meltan will also be introduced, but you’ll still need to transfer Pokémon to Pokémon Home to try and get one.

The Pokemon that Ditto can transform into are also changing, so keep your eyes peeled.

Most importantly, Giovanni is back, and this time he’s accompanied by a fearsome Regice.

Make sure you save your rocket radars so you can take on him.

Forme Thunderdurus incarnate charges raids

Raid Hour takes place on Wednesday March 22, 2023 out of 6 p.m local time.

After two weeks at the top, the five-star raids are switching from Ho-Oh to Thundurus.

Thundurus is in his incarnate form and you cannot change form at this time.

Mega Venusaur will be the target of Mega Raids taking over Mega Medicham.

Mountain Cup takes on the Go Battle League

Go Battle League turns on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 21 clock UK time.

The Ultra League has one week left, but the Psychic Cup will be leaving the league.

It will be replaced by the Mountain Cup with a maximum CP of 1.5k.

The Mountain Cup only allows Ice, Rock, Ground, and Steel Pokémon to participate.

There is only one disqualification for this cup, one of the best starters of all time, Swampert.

Palmer will be featured on Go Battle Day

Community Day takes place on Saturday March 25, 2023all day.

On this day there will be a special timed research with rewards based on participating in the Go Battle League.

The rewards are based on Palmer, the leader of the Generation 4 Battle Frontier.

The Battle Frontier is one of the hardest challenges in Pokémon, so players will want to take on this one.
