The girlfriend of a British scientist who was killed has told of the horror of witnessing her boyfriend being shot dead by a stray bullet as they lay in bed together.
Astrophysicist Matthew Willson, 31, was with Katherine Shepard and had only arrived in the US two days before the tragedy.
