Glastonbury: The hooded woman watched Robert Plant perform

A music fan in Glastonbury has been named a doppelganger by Her Majesty the Queen.

The fan – who bears a striking resemblance to our serving Monarch – was spotted wearing blue jackets in the crowd at the world famous festival.

The unidentified fan appears to have been camouflaged from the whole scene, wearing hoods and lightly tinted sunglasses to avoid unwanted glare.

And ever since a look-alike photo was shared on social media, it went viral with viewers snapping the photo twice and sparking a flurry of jokes.

One person sparked a frenzy on Twitter: “The Queen went to Glastonbury to see Robert Plant. That disguise doesn’t fool anyone.”

Commenting on the tweet, one added: “FFS lol God save the Queen,” Buffy replied as Georgia added: “That’s so funny!”

Fifi tweeted: “That’s funny! Well, the Queen likes Paul McCartney, so why not?”

However, some fans feel the carnival reveler resembles Princess Anne.

Beatrice was present and dressed casually to blend in with the crowd

“It really looks like princess Anne!!” Another agreed: “I was just going to say it, it really does!”

The Queen, who celebrated her Platinum Jubilee earlier this month, may not have attended the festivities but her granddaughter Beatrice did.

Appearing casually with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, she mingled with the rest of the festival as she wore a simple khaki shirt dress and a denim jacket tied around her waist.

And it was not without fault that her bank card was declined three times at the bar.

The royal was trying to buy a drink at the upscale Pony Bistro bar, she was in line – only to have her face red when she couldn’t pay with her card.

But later in the day the carnival claims to be cash only, which may explain why Beatrice was caught using her card.

Meanwhile, the Queen marked a pivotal moment as she marked a return to her lifelong hobby of horseback riding.

The 96-year-old grandmother is back in the saddle after a nine-month break after mobility problems forced her to take a break.
