Global superstar Harry Styles takes to the stage ‘like Freddie Mercury in pomp’ – Tom Bryant

Former One Direction star Harry Styles has a strong fan base and his latest concert did not disappoint according to Mirror’s Tom Bryant

Resilient in a Gucci jumpsuit with a heart, Harry Styles sure looks like a global superstar.
Even if he sometimes has to pinch himself that he’s on such a big stage.
“This doesn’t happen to people like me,” said Harry, skeptical at the sheer number of fans gathered at Wembley Stadium.
But he doesn’t just look partial, he also has the moves.
He covered every inch of the stage like Freddie Mercury in his pomp as the hits Watermelon Sugar, Cinema and the summer song As It Was were met with warm applause.
But there’s also substance behind the swagger, with Fleetwood Mac-inspired Boyfriends and ballad Matilda showcasing emotional depth.
While some artists get lost in the vast expanse of a stadium performance, Harry is able to achieve a rare degree of intimacy.
“You don’t mind a little rain, do you?” he asked, as the heavens opened during the encore.
Judging by their faces, not at all.
