“Once they’ve been convicted, it’s supposed to be punishment – they lose their freedom from society for a period of time. don’t enjoy anything. All you can do is breathe.'”

Kate points out: “Their victims can feel it.”

“I can’t talk to them over there,” she replied. “And I understand that.”

Criminal attorney Jerry said: “I think most viewers would say, ‘This is really scary, it’s almost spooky. How can anyone be in a relationship with someone’ – you meet How often is he?”

Kate Garraway asked Heike how the victims would feel

When he turned to Heike, she replied “many times”, then explained that it was “four or five times a year”.

“You say you’re close,” he continued. “But people just think, ‘Why?! What drew you to this man? “

Ben interjected, diplomatically saying that some thought it was about the prisoner’s “right” to marry and have a chance to fall in love.

Heike suggests prisoners can be ‘re-education’ through marriage

Jerry replied, “Well, let’s do it the usual way. Wait until they debut! It won’t be a normal relationship, it won’t be a proper relationship. What kind of person wants to marry, to talk, to want to have sex with such a man?!”

But Heike suggested that inmates could be “re-education” after marrying someone in prison.

“Everybody has someone in their life before they commit these crimes or whatever they do,” she said. “It’s a big mistake to start saying, ‘It’s the end of all your personal relationships.’ Because statistics and studies have shown that within two years of incarceration, family and close friends leave.

“But they’ve shown that these are the most important things to continue to do to ensure future recovery and functioning. And there’s another side to it – if someone doesn’t have something worthwhile in life. , prisons are very dangerous places, and a person with nothing to lose is a very dangerous person.”

However, viewers were not impressed and took to Twitter to comment.

One person tweeted: “NO, it’s REALLY Dangerous Marrying a killer you’re stupid #GMB.”

“This woman, wtf, she doesn’t even think of any victims in a crime…”, another pointed out.
