God of War Ragnarök release time – How to preload your game for launch

If you want to play God of War Ragnarök as soon as possible, you don’t have to wait much longer.

Here’s everything you need to know about the game’s release and how to prepare for it.

God of War Ragnarok release date and time

God of War Ragnarök will have a staggered release, meaning it will be released in stages at the same hour in every time zone around the world.

The good news here is that everyone will get it Wednesday, November 9thas soon as the clock turns midnight local time the previous evening.

The downside to this is that those living in the eastern parts of the world can play God of War Ragnarök before the western half.

If you haven’t already pre-ordered your copy, you can set up a PlayStation Account set up in New Zealand and purchase it there.

This way you can play the game as soon as possible since it is midnight in New Zealand 11 clock UK time or 6 o’clock in the morning ET on November 8th.

How to summon God of War Ragnarök

Pre-release versions of God of War Ragnarök are already live, which means that if you’ve pre-ordered the game you can start downloading it to your PS4 or PS5.

Sometimes your console will start the preload automatically depending on your settings.

However, you can also start the download by selecting the game in your home menu and the countdown timer.

This will start the preload process, meaning the game is fully installed for launch.

Those who haven’t already pre-ordered can also do so by purchasing the game ahead of its release.
