God of War Ragnarok: True Ending Guide

IF you’ve already reached the end of God of War Ragnarok’s main story, you might have been wondering if this is really it?

However, there is another ending to be found that brings a more satisfying conclusion to the game’s storyline and has a set of requirements to unlock it.

In order to tell you how to get that ending, we had to include a few spoilerso this is your warning.

We tried to keep them as light as possible and didn’t reveal anything about the characters’ endings.

If you still want to know how to unlock the true ending of God of War Ragnarök, here is everything you need to know.

How to unlock the true ending of God of War Ragnarök

To unlock the true ending of God of War Ragnarok, you must first Complete the side quest A Viking Funeral after you finish the main story.

This favor has two main steps:

• Attend the funeral
• Meet the party at Sverd Sands

To complete both, you must travel to Svartalfheim.

Here you need to find Lunda who wants to honor someone’s memory in Raeb’s Tavern.

Go to the tavern and listen to everyone talking about the deceased.

Once you have attended the funeral, you must travel to Sverd Sands.

You’ll find this at the end of the ferry path near Tyr’s prison.

Since you spent some time here during the main quest, you should be able to find it easily on your in-game compass.

This triggers a cutscene and the true credits for God of War Ragnarök.

You can continue playing the same game file after the credits roll, so don’t worry about your adventure ending.

There will be many more adventures after the game, so keep playing to your heart’s content.
