Godzilla teased in Call of Duty: Warzone & Vanguard Season 3 trailer

A new trailer for Call of Duty Warzone & Vanguard Season 3 has been released, giving a little taste of what to expect in the months to come. Completely cinematic with no real gameplay, this trailer moves along the story of Warzone Pacific as events on Caldera take a turn for the worse.

While in this trailer we take a look at three new Operators that will in all likelihood be available early in Season 3, the main reveal seems to be Godzilla’s introduction to the game.

We don’t see the monster itself, but a set of walkie-talkies playing its roar caps the trailer off alongside the narration that states, “The Nazis had unknowingly roused something”. So it seems almost certain that the king of monsters will show up in some form.

there is more! The Call of Duty Twitter account posted a small audio snippet (embedded below) that also includes the Godzilla roar. However, if you run this sound through a Spectogram, the text “Monsters Are Real” will appear. It’s all very interesting, isn’t it?

It will be good to return to Caldera, especially as most of the fun has been spent on Rebirth Island lately thanks to the Rebirth Resurgence update. Caldera felt a little lacking in comparison, so additional tweaks or even giant changes to the map can only be a good thing, right?

We’ll know for sure when Season 3 releases later this month on April 27th. Are you excited for the next season of Warzone and Vanguard, especially after the brilliant Season 2 Reloaded update? Let us know below!
