Gogglebox: Lee tricked Jenny with rude joke
Googlebox fans were sewn up after Lee Riley played an April Fools prank with his friend Jenny Newby on Friday’s show.
TV star Lee pretends to have received a call from the DVLA, and tells Jenny no doubt to pick up a pen and paper and write down his license plate number as he reads it.
“What do you have Jenny there?” he asked after she wrote down.
“Er, NE… NE1… 4… A… BJ,” Jenny replied without picking up.
It wasn’t until after Jenny repeated the acronym rather rudely to a giggling Lee that the coin finally dropped.

She exclaims, “It’s not your subscription!” which Lee quipped: “But I think I’ll have it”.
Fans immediately took to Twitter to comment on the humorous scenes.
One said: “Looool, ‘N, E, 1, 4, A, B, J…” Bless her, Jenny has no clue what she just said! “With a smiley emoji.
While another tweeted: “Omg howling took me awhile.”

Gogglebox fans often laugh at the hilarious duo who have been broadcasting from her caravan since 2014 after they signed up for the show during a trip to Beverley Racecourse.
Best friends even moved in together during the lockdown to entertain Channel 4 viewers.

But many viewers were shocked to learn that the Hull static caravan the couple appeared in actually belonged to Lee and not Jenny.
One fan said badly: “I always assumed it was Jenny’s crew!! Only took me 15 series to realize it was Lee’s!!”
Another said: “Crazy. I think it’s Jenny’s caravan after about 20 series of follow-ups. Crazy.”
