Gogglebox: Sophie and Pete are trying to break Easter eggs

Gogglebox favorites Sophie and Pete Sandiford delighted fans with a picture of their rarely-seen partners as the quartet met for a wedding this weekend.

The siblings looked miles from their usual sofa surf attire, as viewers are more used to seeing the Channel 4 duo as they posed glamorously for the occasion.

The pair were joined by Pete’s wife Paige and a mystery man alongside Sophie, whom many believed to be her secret boyfriend.

The gang were seen sipping Prosecco and beer while relaxing in the sun after the service.

Sophie shared the photo on her Instagram with the caption, “Happy Birthday Jack and Emma.”

“You look unreal Sophie,” a fan told her.

“God, he scrubs well, doesn’t he? Nice photo,” added another, of her big brother Pete.

“You look beautiful, Sophie. Tell Pedro he scrubs well too!” agreed a third, while another called the couple’s partners “stunning”.

Many others asked Sophie to let her know where her colorful dress came from as they hoped to snag it for similar events this summer.

Sophie’s brother Pete tied the knot with partner Paige last September and the couple are set to welcome a baby boy.

The tot made a brief cameo in the latest Gogglebox episode as doting dad Pete cooed at his son.

Pete announced he was going to be a father on the Channel 4 show last April when he showed sister Sophie a baby scan on his phone.

“Not angry? I’m actually going to be a father to someone,” he said to his little younger sibling.

The year before, Pete caused a stir when he first went public with his now-wife Paige.

“My wife and best mate, what more could I ask for!” he wrote while sharing a sweet selfie with the gorgeous brunette.

Some cruel trolls responded by calling Pete “Blow.”

“‘The benefits of using the phone,'” one replied bitterly.

Others, however, were far more supportive, leaving sweet replies to Pete, including: “Decent, honest boys who make you laugh — always grab the girl.”

Pete and his sister Sophie have been popular with Gogglebox audiences since their debut in 2018.

They previously shared their shock at being asked to appear on the Channel 4 hit after years of watching it.

“‘We’re still amazed to be on the show. A woman came up to me and said me and Soph are ace – when people take the time to do that, it means a lot,” Pete said.
