Gold jewelry stolen from house in St Leonards

Police are appealing for witnesses after gold jewelry and cash were stolen from a home.

The burglary occurred around 11.30am on Tuesday 19 July at a house on Stonehouse Drive, St Leonards.

One person fled the scene after being disturbed by the homeowner, who returned to the address.

Cash and gold jewelry were stolen during the daytime burglary.

Among the accessories stolen were five simple gold rings, one gold ring with a small diamond at the top, two large gold bracelets, three gold earrings and three gold necklaces, one of which has a large emblem at the bottom.

Officers investigating the break-in are asking for witnesses to come forward. They also urge local pawnbrokers to look out for jewelry that matches the photo and description above.

Anyone with information can report it on-line or by calling 101 quoting the serial number 439 dated 07/19. Alternatively, witnesses can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
