Google is issuing an Urgent Security Warning about stolen passwords that you must NOT ignore

GOOGLE takes a tougher stance on broken passwords with a new alert for its most vulnerable users.
The tech company warns people if their password has been part of a hack for some time.
Google does this by checking your passwords against known data breaches that are easily accessible to scammers on the internet.
This means you can change your information before a hacker tries to use it to access your accounts.
Previously it was available in Google Chrome for desktop.
But the company is going a step further and rolling out the warning for Chrome on Android devices as well.
Password Checkup for Android is the latest useful feature for Google Assistant.
The additional protection is designed to help users “check their saved credentials for security vulnerabilities and provides a list of measures to improve online hygiene,” as Google puts it.
When the notification pops up, Google Assistant will offer to automatically create a new password for you.
It will then be stored in your Google account to access whenever you need to access that website.
The latest version of Google Play must be installed to use this feature.
The move is one of several tougher moves by the tech giant recently.
A new pop-up alert for Google Chat was recently introduced, alerting users to suspicious links appearing in conversations.
Google also adds a user safety status to the apps they use, which shows a yellow warning icon on their profile picture when something is flagged.
Meanwhile, Chrome and Android are said to be getting virtual cards that shoppers can use to hide their credit or debit card number when making online purchases.
