Google is starting to roll out a free perk to millions — and it could keep you out of harm’s way

GOOGLE Pixel 7 owners can now snag a special perk that would normally cost you.
The tech giant has started rolling out a free VPN for everyone with the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.
It’s Google One’s VPN that you would normally have to subscribe to the 2TB+ plans to get.
That normally costs £7.99 – although it comes with cloud storage and other perks you don’t get for free in this particular deal.
As Google describes itself, a VPN acts like a “privacy” as it adds a layer of encryption to your internet activities.
The company promised to give Pixel 7 owners free access to the VPN feature when it launched the device in October.
Now, to deliver on that promise, Pixel 7 users will get access starting today.
Just download the Google One app and you should have the VPN feature available.
How to Claim Free Google One VPN
To activate it, search advantages along the bottom.
Scroll down until you find VPN protection for multiple devices.
Choose View Details.

And finally select Use VPN.
As it comes out, chances are it hasn’t reached you yet, so keep an eye out if you’re not lucky right away.
