Users can get a feel for restaurants or see what the weather is like in popular travel destinations.

You’ve already seen amazing 3D views of major landmarks around the world.

But now you get a lot more detail so you can plan ahead.

A time slider shows you what the area looks like at different times of the day and the weather associated with it.

It shows when the destination is busiest, so you can opt for a quieter time.

Some locations were already peekable, but now they appear in 3D.

“All of this allows you to see if a bar’s mood lighting is the right atmosphere for a date night, or if the view at a coffee shop makes it the ideal spot for lunch with friends,” Google said.

The feature will roll out in London, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Tokyo starting today before rolling out to other cities.

It’s one of many new features Google unveiled at an event in Paris.

The tech giant is pushing even further towards AI and augmented reality, allowing you to find things while holding up your smartphone.

Live View highlights places of interest like coffee shops—even when they’re not in your line of sight.

This way the AR can guide you there using on-screen arrows.

Google is also making life easier for e-car owners elsewhere.

A new EV icon will appear when searching for charging stations – but only for cars with Google built-in.
