The event can be viewed for free on YouTube by Google.

Just visit the official Made by Google channel here.

We expect a host of new gadgets to be unveiled – including at least two new phones and a smartwatch.

And thanks to endless leaks, we already have a very good idea of what’s to come.

Google Pixel 7

Google Pixel 7 will be the entry-level device for today’s event.

It comes with the latest Android 13 software from Google.

And it uses an updated version of Google’s custom Tensor chip – a rival to Apple’s own A-series processors.

There’s no word on what kind of new features or performance improvements we’ll see, but expect at least some kind of improvement.

The design is expected to change slightly, with an aluminum camera bar on the rear with very prominent cameras.

We’ll likely see a small pill-shaped notch on the front that houses the selfie camera.

Google Pixel 7 Pro

The Google Pixel 7 Pro is the next level of the Pixel 7.

It will probably offer the best features and is a direct competitor to Apple’s new iPhone 14 Pro.

One of the big advantages of the Pro model seems to be a triple camera system on the rear. That’s the same as last year’s Google Pixel 6 Pro.

These will likely include wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle, and telephoto lenses—obviously for high-end devices these days.

Instead of a pill-shaped notch on the Pixel 7, the Pro model is said to have two small cutouts – one wider than the other.

And it will also run on Android 13, just like its cheaper sibling.

Google pixel watch

Perhaps the most exciting of all announcements is the Pixel Watch.

It’s been rumored for years, but it’s expected to finally debut on Made by Google.

Yes, it’s a smartwatch – a clear competitor to the very dominant Apple Watch.

It offers health tracking on a smooth, round face built on a premium stainless steel body.

That’s a stark contrast to the squarer Apple Watch Series 8 (and certainly the new Apple Watch Ultra).

But Google seems to have introduced a crown dial on the side – similar to many classic watches and also the Apple Watch.

It’s very likely to offer heart rate monitoring, a calorie burned log, and sleep tracking.

There may also be a cellular version of the device that allows you to use the device when you don’t have your cell phone with you.

Battery life remains a mystery, but it would be surprising if Google’s Pixel Watch didn’t last at least a day on a single charge.

Unfortunately, we don’t have pricing yet, but the Pixel Watch will compete with a variety of Apple Watch models.

We expect an entry-level model to cost between £199/$199 and £499/$499, depending on the spec.
