Google unveils Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones to take on Apple’s iPhone – The Irish Sun

GOOGLE unveiled two new smartphones on Thursday that are designed to take on Apple’s iPhone.

They were announced at the Made by Google Launch event in Brooklyn, New York City.

The gadget show, which also showcased a new Google smartwatch, was streamed to fans around the world on October 6th.

The Pixel 7 is the company’s latest entry-level smartphone and comes with the latest Android 13 software.

AES is powered by an updated version of Google’s custom Tensor chip – a rival to Apple’s own A-series processors.

It features a 6.3-inch display, a redesigned rear camera bump, and a new punch-hole-style front camera.

The Google Pixel 7 Pro is the next level of the Pixel 7.

Offering the best features and a corresponding higher price, it’s a direct competitor to Apple’s new iPhone 14 Pro.

One of the big advantages of the Pro model is a triple camera system on the rear. That’s the same as last year’s Google Pixel 6 Pro.

This includes wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle and telephoto lenses – these days, of course, with high-end devices.

The phone’s sleek design includes a polished aluminum finish and aluminum camera bar.

It also runs on Android 13 and features Google’s new chip technology.

According to Google, the Pixel 7 starts at $799, while the Pro model will start at $899. UK prices are yet to be announced.

The phones are available to pre-order today from GoogleStore.com and will ship on October 13th.

They will also be available at any of the physical Google Stores in the New York area.

Google’s Pixel phones are the favorite of Android users worldwide due to their competitive prices and industry-leading cameras.

The gadgets benefit from rapid software and security updates directly from Google, like iPhones from Apple.

That’s because Google owns Android, the smartphone operating system used in Pixel and Samsung and Motorolla phones.

However, despite its lustrous reputation, Pixel sales are nowhere near those of its closest rivals.

According to market analysts at IDC, Google has moved 27.6 million units in the six years that Google has sold its own phones.

That’s 10 percent of the number of phones Samsung sold in 2021 alone.

Also unveiled at Made by Google was the new Google Pixel Watch, the search giant’s answer to the Apple Watch.

Google also announced its own tablet, the Google Pixel tablet. Both will appear in the coming weeks.
