Google warns 2 MILLION Chrome users to fix their apps TODAY – how to do it

GOOGLE has notified all Chrome users of the new update that is coming today.

Google Chrome is one of the most used browsers in the world.
Billions of people use it, so any mistake can have dire consequences.
That’s why Google regularly provides software updates.
Sometimes they add new features, but often they patch security holes.
This helps prevent hackers from getting into your device.
Google is now rolling out the latest version of Chrome.
It’s called Chrome 97.0.4692.99 and fixes 26 different issues in the browser.
One of the vulnerabilities – named CVE-2022-0289 – is rated “critical”.
That’s the most serious possible rating that Google can give its browser.
How to Update Google Chrome
If you have automatic updates turned on, you’ll probably get new software soon.
But you can also update manually, giving you the earliest possible chance of getting a new release.
Go to your Settings Menu, then Help, and then About Google Chrome.
You should be able to see your current version of Chrome.
So if it says Chrome 97.0.4692.99 or later, you’re fine.
But if you’re using an older version, Chrome will automatically check for updates and flag that.
You can then download and install the new version.
You will need to restart your browser once the installation is complete to complete the process.
