The company is able to detect dubious links and warn you against opening them.

Google already had the feature in Gmail and Google Drive, but now it’s been extended to Google Chat as well.

The move is designed to protect people from nasty phishing attacks used by cyber crooks to trick you of money.

Google’s red alert reads: “This invitation is suspicious.

There is an option to accept the chat anyway or to block it.

So if you see the banner, think twice about who is trying to contact you and if it’s real.

They have started providing them for both personal and work Google accounts.

It comes after Google recently announced a series of security upgrades for its products.

The company is expanding its use of two-step verification with a new feature that prompts a user to verify themselves on their phone if they’ve logged in elsewhere on the web.

Google also adds a user safety status to the apps they use, which shows a yellow warning icon on their profile picture when something is flagged.

Meanwhile, Chrome and Android are said to be getting virtual cards that shoppers can use to hide their credit or debit card number when making online purchases.
