Graham Potter’s verdict as Brighton wins at Forest Green

The Seagulls head coach admitted: “I wouldn’t say it was comfortable, the goal line might look like it, but I thought it was a close game.

“We played well in the first half and deservedly took the lead but then we have Forest Green to thank, I thought they played well in the second half and pushed us back.

“We’ve had a couple of guys that needed some playing time, some young players out there that can affect performance overall.

“But I think if Forest Green had scored it would have made it a lot harder for us.

“Fortunately we were able to keep a clean sheet and score the first goal.” Graham Potter’s verdict as Brighton wins at Forest Green
