Group sighted near the cliffs of Seaford Head

HIKERS were nervous after seeing a group of people standing near a cliff.

An eyewitness said groups of hikers standing by the railings at Splash Point “appeared to be very nervous” and were watching the group.

“From this distance they looked like a couple of young men who were being followed by others and they were near the edge for about 15 minutes,” eyewitness told The Argus.

“They seemed interested in looking down at the cliffs and the view.

“What worries me is that fools like them encourage the powerful to fence off the cliffs when someone falls.”
