Guild Wars 2 Add Vendors for Siege Turtle Egg, Tweak Mechanist and Catalyst for better balance

The Guild Wars 2 team has made it possible for you to get Siege Turtle Eggs from the newly added vendor in Dragon’s End. This replacement came after many players had repeated difficulties in completing The Battle for the Jade Sea event and getting the egg as a reward.

This new option to buy one for 200 Writs of Dragon’s End adds another, slower, way to get one if the giant encounter is too annoying. Obtaining the egg unlocks the Siege Turtle mount collection, so now there’s a way to unlock this new, widely featured mount for more players. Additionally, Hero’s Choice chests have been added to the End of Dragons meta event rewards list.

Also in the newer patches are some fixes for fishing rod skin related issues. Avid Fisher collections have also been activated, so those looking to go fishing are now in luck. Female Charr will also no longer roll her head while fishing.

The mechanic received a fix, as Jade Mech was accidentally given higher stats than intended sometimes in PvP. The mech has also been tweaked a bit since it’s quite difficult. Mechanist also received feedback that the overall usage was wobbly, so the team is also speeding up the animations for Energizing Slam and removing the lag after impact impeding player movement or selection. power. Mace is getting some small changes that will work better with condition and support builds.

Also getting some new tweaks is Catalyst, which has been hit hard and become too strong in group content. Their aim was to make Catalysts fast and powerful, but found that “our other professions require a trade-off in trait selection to deliver a beneficial supporting role.” powerful while the current catalyst is not, resulting in the catalyst causing about a third more damage than other quick-assist options.”

The changes to Catalyst are intended to accommodate other damage inflicted and also to adjust to support builds that support PvE benefits. The second one comes with increasing the base time of the Orbs by 100% in PvE.
