Now we know End of Dragons will arrive on February 28th, ArenaNet is continuing to reveal some more things that await us all in the This expansion for Guild Wars 2. The latest is an introduction to New Kaineng, a city in the heart of Cantha.

The preview video for New Kaineng City continues to feature jade technology and its apparent importance in all upcoming content. The city is huge and bustling, full of floors, buildings and lots to explore. We see a river complete with boats, merchants, people gathered around on the streets of the so-called “city of the future”. This is reflected in many wonders, technological advancements and also equipment, automatic gates and even Jade-enhanced creatures roaming around.

In previous previews, we were introduced to the Pearl Sea and its freezing bounty. A travel route and an exploitable resource that many derive from power. That’s a big part of why these technological advancements are possible, and we’ll learn more about it. The group has revealed its February streaming schedule recent and one of the upcoming streams will focus on mastering jade technology.
