Halo Infinite Season 2 will add new maps, modes, and events when it launches on May 3rd.
Announced with trailer the game’s official Twitter pageSeason 2 is titled Lone Wolves and promises several new additions to the multiplayer portion of Halo Infinite.
“Get ready for Season 2 of Halo Infinite,” the post read. “Experience fresh content including new maps, modes, themed limited-time events, and a brand new Battle Pass that never expires.”
While the trailer doesn’t give too much away, developer 343 Industries has previously said that the new Battle Pass will allow players to earn credits to spend on items, cosmetics, and even the next Battle Pass in the in-game shop.
Season 2 is also intended to address the lack of content that is “just frustrating the community,” 343 Industries said last week. Community Director Brian Jarrard wrote on Reddit: “We understand the community is just running out of patience and quite frankly I think understandably tired of words. We just need some time for the team to sort out the details and then we can certainly share as much as we can.”
In our 9/10 Online Modes Review, IGN said, “Halo Infinite’s multiplayer delivers a spectacular modern take on one of the most respected first-person shooters in gaming.”
