Hamza Yassin and his professional partner Jowita Przystal were crowned the winners of Strict Come Dancing 2022.

But the public vote finally decided who lifted the coveted glittering trophy for 2022.
Yassin faced a tough final against Przystal when they were criticized for making mistakes in their second dance, Let’s Face The Music And Dance by Irving Berlin.
He was in tears when chief judge Shirley Ballas said: “Well, this is the first time…I was a bit panicking, it went wrong… What I applaud is that you were finally able to achieve it. that elevation.”
But he recovered in the couple’s final dance of choice in Master KG’s Jerusalema Remix featuring Burna Boy and Nomcebo Zikode, and received a standing ovation from Ballas.
Anton Du Beke said: “I was really emotional watching you dance because it was like the clouds parting when you step on the floor and the sun comes out. You bring a smile to everyone’s face.”

Yassin also won the first perfect score in the final dance of the competition.
His performance in the jury’s pick routine, a salsa to Ecuador by Sash! featuring Rodriguez, he also won praise and standing ovation from Ballas and Motsi Mabuse.
Ballas said: “Your lift is higher, your turn is in place… I think you are amazing.”
TV presenter Skelton and her dance partner Marquez ended the competition with the Mein Herr dance by Liza Minnelli (from Cabaret), earning them a unique 40 points of the night.
They received a standing ovation from judges Ballas and Mabuse – and shouts of “Helen, Helen” from the crowd.
“This reaction is what we live for as performers,” says Du Beke.
Emeli Sande’s Shine dance performance and Janelle Monae’s Jive dance to Tightrope at the request of the judges also scored high.
East radio DJ and singer, 35, received rave reviews from the judges for all of her performances, with two perfect marks for her samba on Arrow’s Hot Hot Hot, the jury’s choice, and her couple’s choice for Destiny’s Child megamix.

East and Rainford find themselves vying for their place to stay in the dance four times each, while Skelton and Yassin avoid that fate for the entire series.
The final also saw performances from Florence And The Machine and the rivals of Serious 2022, who lost a place in the final.
Last year’s competition saw Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice crowned the winners.
