The Sussexes were photographed in California after attending the Platinum Jubilee, and among their luggage were a scooter and wooden swing set similar to the one Charles had given the Cambridges
Prince Harry and Meghan’s luggage included a blue children’s scooter and a wooden swing set similar to the one Charles gave William and Kate.
The Sussexes were photographed in a black Range Rover in Santa Barbara, California last Sunday after reportedly returning to the United States on a private jet.
Pictures showed Harry sitting next to the driver in the front seat of the car.
And photos have also surfaced of her luggage being taken off the plane at Santa Barbara Airport, with a handler carrying a wooden swing with rope that had a blue cover.
And another Sussexes employee took a blue scooter and stowed it in a car.
The wooden swing was similar to the one played by Prince George, the son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, in 2016 and was named after his parents William and Catherine.
It was a wedding present from Charles and was kept at their home in Norfolk.
The Sussexes’ second child, Lilibet, celebrated her first birthday in the UK last Saturday during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations and is believed to have met the Queen, who was not at the Epsom races that day.
Lilibet, born June 4, 2021 at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California, was named in honor of the Queen.
Harry and Meghan kept a low profile in the UK after being spotted briefly at the Trooping the Color and then at the Queen’s Thanksgiving service on Friday.
But they didn’t stop at the anniversary concert, which saw thousands of royal fans fill The Mall.
The royal family’s Twitter account posted a balloon emoji and the message: “Happy 1st Birthday to Lilibet!”
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall also posted birthday messages on Twitter.
Elsewhere, Meghan’s hairstylist George Northwood posted pictures of her and Harry on Instagram.
He wrote: “So nostalgic and wonderful to be reunited with Harry, Meghan and their family in the UK. Archie has grown into the cutest, well behaved little boy and Lilibet is absolutely beautiful.”
An informal garden party was reportedly held at Frogmore Cottage with many of Lilibet’s royal cousins attending the party.
The party included picnic food, party games, balloons and a cake, The Sun reported, and the one-year-old received a number of lavish gifts including a pink toy car.
Lilibet, the Queen’s family nickname, was first used when Princess Elizabeth was an infant and unable to pronounce her own name correctly.
Her grandfather, King George V, affectionately called her Lilibet, mimicking her own attempts at saying Elizabeth.
The nickname stuck and she became Lilibet for her family from then on.
