Prince Harry and Meghan could still be seen on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, even if it’s not after Trooping the Color at the start of the anniversary celebrations, sources say.

The palace announced that the Queen is restricting post-Platinum balcony appearances to working royals only.

It meant the Sussexes would be barred from the balcony after Trooping the Color, with the decision being taken “after careful consideration”, Buckingham Palace has said.

Despite this, Harry and Meghan were quick to announce that they will be coming to the UK to attend the celebrations, also bringing their children Archie and Lilibet – who have yet to meet their great-grandmother the Queen.

And Palace sources have reportedly said the Sussexes could perform with other senior royals at the end of the anniversary celebrations – and perhaps even make a second appearance on the balcony.

“At the end of the day, it’s about celebrating the historic achievement of a truly remarkable woman. No one would want to disrespect the Queen by continuing hostilities in public,” a Daily Mail Source.

Another said: “Despite what has happened in recent years and what may be to come as Harry’s memoir is not yet out, family members will embrace the Queen’s olive branch in the spirit in which it was renewed. The body language will be fascinating. Mind you.”

Since moving to the United States, the Sussexes have been openly critical of the royal family.

In a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, Harry even went so far as to say he needed to break the cycle and raise his kids in a different environment in the US.

But despite the constant attacks, it has been claimed the Sussexes will still be welcome.

Another Palace source told the Mail: “They are very popular family members and [the Queen said] They would be invited to family events. We’ve always made that clear.”

It is the first time Harry and Meghan have taken their family to the UK since leaving the US.

On 2 June, Trooping the Color – the sovereign’s official birthday parade – will kick off the four-day anniversary celebrations, with 18 members of the royal family gathering on the famous facade and the Queen looking forward to the celebration weekend. .
