PRINCE HARRY and Meghan Markle are on the final day of their UK tour – but the Duke has not seen his brother despite staying just 700 meters away, it has been reported.
The couple arrived in Manchester on Monday where Meghan, a councilor for the organization, was delivering a speech at the One Young World summit.
They will attend the Well Child Awards later today in London to celebrate the achievements and resilience of seriously ill young people and their families.
But Harry, who is staying at Frogmore Cottage with Meghan, is said not to have visited his brother, the Duke of Cambridge, who lives just 700 meters away in Adelaide Cottage, Windsor.
It is also believed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge only found out about the couple’s visit to the UK through the media.
Omid Scobie, the couple’s biographer and regarded as their mouthpiece in the UK, told the Mail Online he believes Meghan and Harry still haven’t spoken to William and Kate.
A source reportedly told him: “There’s a ridiculous attempt to suggest the Sussexes have been shunned. The real story is that they never approached the Cambridges.”
They will attend the glittering Well Child ceremony tonight, where the Duke is expected to praise the young people’s courage and thank those who care and support them.
Since 2007, the Duke has been a patron of WellChild, the national charity for seriously ill children and their families.
During a pre-ceremony reception, the couple will meet the winners of each award category, including healthcare professionals and their families.
Harry will give a short speech during the event and the couple will present the award for the most inspirational child aged four to six.
The couple are expected to return to their California home later this evening, although this has not yet been confirmed.
