Jessie Cave has given birth to a child – and is now the mother of four children.
The Harry Potter star, 34, took to Instagram to share the good news and the name of her baby boy.
Sharing snaps from the hospital, she wrote: “Welcome Becker Brown. Thanks to UCLH. Thanks to the midwives Amy and Emi-Lou. Thanks to Alisson Becker.”
Her fans and famous friends rushed to congratulate her, commenting on the adorable picture of her cradling her newborn and another of Alfie staring affectionately at his son.
Laura Whitmore wrote: “Congratulations!!”
While one fan joked: “Congratulations! …Only 5 babies to go.”
And another wrote: “Congratulations boys on another beautiful little human”
Jessie’s pregnancy was not without drama, as the Lavender Brown star revealed earlier this month that she had been hospitalized.
She told her fans at the time that she felt like she’d been “hit by a ton of bricks.”
She had become increasingly unwell after testing positive for Covid a few weeks earlier.
As she shared pictures from her hospital bed, she had asked her followers: “Triage, one more time…. Anyone else had Covid in their 3rd trimester and had it hit them like a ton of bricks for weeks?
“Besides, has anyone taken the anti-nausea medication and felt worse?”
“Coronavirus followed by Norovirus, in addition to the almost constant nausea throughout the pregnancy.
“But I still manage to be an absolute ray of sunshine, don’t worry,” she joked.
Jessie announced back in December that she was expecting her fourth child with comedian boyfriend Alfie.
They were already the proud parents of Margot (4), Donnie (6) and Abraham (13 months).
Abraham’s birth was also a difficult time for the couple.
Jessie woke up in intensive care before finally being allowed home to recover.
And when Abraham was just two months old, he tested positive for Covid and was taken to Chelsea & Westminster Hospital.
Jessie wrote at the time: “I saw the news about the lockdown from an isolation room at the hospital. The poor baby is Covid positive.
“He’s okay and fine but thankfully they’re vigilant and careful.”
Jessie and Alfie started dating in 2013 after meeting the previous year.
Their first date resulted in a pregnancy, and Jessie later told The Sunday Times Style: “I came to the decision that I was very lucky to have his baby and whatever he said to me, I’d be fine would go.
“Although something told me that our one night stand together was unique and beautiful — and deep down, it did feel inevitable that we’d be together someday, although I didn’t want to jinx it.”
