Harry Styles surprised fans at Coachella by bringing Lizzo on stage to sing a One Direction hit.
The former boy band star opened the second weekend of the US music festival on Friday with a little help from his close pal.
The mismatched duo, donning matching pink fur coats, drew screams from the crowd as they appeared on stage together.
After shaking the house with a rendition of Gloria Gaynor’s disco hit I Will Survive, they kicked off with a rendition of One Direction’s What Makes You Beautiful.
As Harry’s electrifying headline sentence drew to a close, fireworks lit up the sky over the Colorado desert.

The 28-year-old singer, who blew kisses to the crowd during his performance, said it was a “privilege” to play the festival after a two-year hiatus due to Covid.
He told fans, “Life is about moments – and I won’t forget this one.”
Lizzo shared a selfie of her and Harry after the show, looking like they’re having the time of their lives.
Still dressed in matching pink outfits, she captioned the post: “Proud of you @harrystyles. Thank you for having me.”

This led to some fans dubbing her “Hizzo” and others saying it was the “best selfie ever.”
Another wrote: “SUCH LEGENDARY DUO. The two of you on stage just brings life. I love you both more than words. All the love.”
“This selfie is pure chaos and I’m sooo here for it,” chimed in a fourth fan.
And Lizzo wasn’t the only surprise act to take the stage with Harry at this year’s Coachella Festival, taking place over two weekends about 120 miles east of Los Angeles.

Country star Shania Twain helped out with his first set on the festival’s first weekend, which fell on Easter.
The pair wore matching sequined outfits to create a rendition of Shania’s Hit Man! I feel like a woman!
One adoring fan gushed: “And that’s how it’s done. High quality timeless song. 2 people Shania 56 and Harry 28 who really know how to sing and engage with the audience. You need zero gimmicks. Great outfits, not half-naked.”
Harry was so excited that they played another song by Shania together, You’re Still The One.
“So honored to be here, thank you Harry,” Shania told the crowd, adding, “I’m kind of at a loss for words. I’m a bit starstruck, what can I say.”

Other acts set to perform at this year’s festival include Kendrick Lamar, who delighted fans by taking the stage with his cousin and fellow rapper Baby Keem for a surprise set.
In addition to Harry, the rapper Slowthai and the Bristol rockers Idles performed at this year’s festival.
Idles guitarist Mark Bowen told the PA news agency it was a “blessing” to play Coachella and said the band enjoys the challenge of being the “underdogs”.
On Saturday, Billie Eilish will headline the main stage, while Swedish House Mafia will close out the festival with The Weeknd on Sunday after Kanye West lost first place.
