Harry Styles congratulated 180,000 at the concert – but his mother reveals she’s still his biggest fan

Harry Styles took to the stage at a two-night concert this weekend, and his mother made a touching comment online sharing her pride in her son’s performance, “I couldn’t be prouder.”

He made 180,000 concertgoers swoon at Wembley Stadium over a two-night weekend.

But Harry Styles’ biggest fan remains his mother.

Reflecting on the two biggest performances of her son’s career to date, Anne Twist proudly writes online: “When I thought he couldn’t get any better.. and I couldn’t be more proud.. con blew me away tonight.”

Mother Anne, 54, who has 2.6 million followers on Instagram, joined son Harry on the latest leg of his UK tour in London, on Saturday night, alongside his sister Gemma. Harry.

Speaking on stage, Harry mentioned his sister, who had played a key role earlier in his career.

“I come from outside of Manchester, but 12 years ago my sister took me to London for the first time, to kick off the X Factor, and I have lived in London since,” he said. “In many ways, this is a very big house for me, so thank you for coming.”

Mother Anne regularly posts about her son online and regularly tours and attends his concerts in Manchester, as well as in the US.

She was also in the audience at his warm-up performance at Brixton Academy in London, where Harry joked about singing about extreme sports in his new song Keep Driving in the presence of his mother.

“I never thought I would say ‘cocaine’ and ‘backup’ to my mother in front of an audience,” he jokes.

Undeterred, she later called the show a “fantastic… Mama’s proud evening”.

She recently said how proud she was at her decision to wear Harry’s dress on the cover of American Vogue, which has received critical acclaim around the world.

“I thought maybe I did something with it,” said Anne.

“I’ve always been a fan of dressing up fancy with them when they were younger, this [Harry’s sister] Gemma always hates but Harry is always tolerant.”

She added: “But who doesn’t love to play dress up.”

Harry Styles: Love On Tour takes place in 32 cities. His UK and European live shows have been postponed for 2020 and 2021 due to Covid.

Last night Harry said of the show: “Wembley, last night was one of my favorite shows we used to play. I don’t know where to start thanking you, I’m completely overwhelmed. I am very grateful, I am very happy”.
