Harry Styles is taking a short career break to read Bedtime Stories on CBeebies, and fans of the hunky singer are ecstatic.
Known for his popularity in boy band One Direction before launching Coachella as a solo artist, Harry is the latest celebrity to take on the challenge of reading the National Children’s Bedtime Story.
When the news was posted on the BBC press office’s Twitter account, fans of the attractive 28-year-old were quickly swooned with excitement.
“Physically, I CANNOT ALLOW THIS INFORMATION. MY FAVORITE PEOPLE ON MY FAVORITE KIDS SHOW IN MY BIRTHDAY THAT F**K,” said one person.

Another said: “He really brings appeal to ALL families now, even the babies.”
While a third joked: “I suddenly need to be reading at night to fall asleep.”
And the fourth one wrote: “Harry is telling bedtime stories!?! So cute.”
Monday, May 23, Harry will put on a nightgown to read the story: In Every House, On Every Street written by Jess Hitchman and illustrated by Lili la Baleine.
The story is a touching remembrance of the houses and the different families that live in them.
When introducing the story on the channel, he said: “The story of going to bed tonight is about a house filled with love and laughter”.
CBeebies Bedtime Stories readers over the past year have included the Royal, Duchess of Cambridge and dance competition winner Rose Ayling-Ellis, who signed her story in British Sign Language.
This comes as Harry prepares to release his new album Harry’s House on May 20 – three days before the episode of Cbeebies Bedtime Story airs.
The 13 songs on his upcoming album are some of his most personal, intimate and, I’m sure, still controversial as he navigates topics like heartbreak, sex, drinking. alcohol and drugs.
He recently released the full watchlist, which is as follows:
1. Music For A Sushi Restaurant, 2. Late Night Talking, 3. Grape Juice, 4. As it Was, 5. Daylight, 6. Little Freak, 7. Matilda, 8. Cinema, 9. Daydreaming, 10. Keep Driving , 11. Satellite, 12. Boyfriend, 13. Love of My Life.
Harry’s album Harry’s House will be released on Friday, May 20
CBeebies Bedtime Story every weekday at 6:50pm on CBeebies and also on BBC iPlayer
