Harry Styles reunites with ‘Grammy Granny’

Almost four months after winning the Grammys, Reina Lafantaisie’s love for Harry Styles is still burning.
Lafantaisie, a self-proclaimed “superfan” who presented Styles, who received a Grammy for “Harry’s House” for Album of the Year in February, was reunited with the pop star after their visit his Monday concert in Coventry, England.
The 78-year-old said she and her family were invited backstage after the performance, where Styles greeted them with a hug.
“He’s the most caring, humble, down to earth person and has a great sense of humor,” says Lafantaisie wrote on Instagram alongside two photos that captured the moment for posterity. “His smile and enjoyment of life lit up the room!”

they also shared a short video of their interaction and shows Styles singing a few bars of Peaches & Herb’s 1978 classic “Reunited.”
Among them was Lafantaisie, who lives in Canada and calls herself “Grammy Granny” on Instagram a group of fans selected by Recording Academy to take the stage at the 2023 Grammy Awards and assist presenter Trevor Noah in presenting the award to this year’s Album of the Year winner.
Seemingly at random, a fan was chosen to represent each of the nominees – who also included Adele, Bad Bunny and Beyoncé.
Speaking of to “Entertainment Tonight Canada” After the Grammys aired, Lafantaisie’s granddaughter Renée Grenon said she was contacted by a member of the Recording Academy after she shared a clip of her grandmother raves about styles this went viral on TikTok.

“I happened to be sitting next to her,” Grenon explained, “and for about ten minutes she explained to everyone in the room why Harry Styles is the number one entertainer.”
She further noted, “And I’m guessing a producer at the Grammys saw the TikTok and emailed me, but we didn’t really know what was going to happen until the last minute.”
For her part, Lafantaisie said she was “dazed” onstage during her exchange with Styles.
“I could not believe it” she remembered. “And I just hugged him as tight as he hugged me. I just couldn’t believe he was there…. And I kept saying, ‘I just have to hold it together.’ I have to hold it together.’ Like my knees are getting weaker by the minute.”
