THE organizers of a seafood and wine festival have announced it will take place this weekend.
The Hastings event will, after “careful consideration”, be held at the Stade open space in Hastings Old Town.
A spokesperson for the event said there would be a minute’s silence at the start of each day to mark the Queen’s death.
There will also be a condolence book to sign during the festival.
The spokesman said: “After very careful consideration, it has been decided that the Hastings Seafood and Wine Festival will be held at the Stade Open Space in Hastings Old Town this weekend.
“A minute’s silence will be observed before the start of the daily musical performances and cooking demonstrations to commemorate the death of Queen Elizabeth II and a book of condolences will be available for signature throughout the festival.”
