Haywards Heath man in hospital after being hit by a car on the A272
An elderly man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car.
The 80-year-old man suffered the injuries in the collision on the A272 near the Hurstwood Lane junction.
He was taken to the Princess Royal Hospital where he remains.
Sussex Police are now appealing for witnesses and footage of the collision on December 19 around 10am.
