THIS was the heartbreaking moment where a Northern Irish MP broke down in frustration over fresh claims Boris Johnson attended a lockdown binge at No10.
Congressman Jim Shannon of the DUP broke down when it came to Covid-19 deaths, including the case of the late mother-in-law.
England Prime Minister is said to have attended a “social distancing drink” hosted by Martin Reynolds, No10’s top official on May 20, 2020.
At the time, the British were asked to limit outdoor gatherings so that the two could fight The spread of covid-19.
In one High-charge Commons debate MPs today yelled at Mr Johnson for refusing to answer questions himself – and charged him in his absence.
Northern Ireland MP Shannon cried while talking about his late mother-in-law, who “died alone” from Covid.
The MP said: “In Northern Ireland, we hit the milestone of 3,000 Covid deaths just last week.
“3,000 people followed the rules and grieve today, including my mother-in-law who died alone.”

He then paused to prepare himself before attempting to continue with his question, albeit clearly annoyed.
And he ended his speech by saying “sorry” to the Speaker.
He asked for confirmation that the results of the police investigation into the BYOB party would be made public.
Secretary Michael Ellis was dispatched to replace Johnson and confirmed the results would be made public.
During the Commons debate, Mr Ellis insisted the Prime Minister was “getting nowhere” as he raised awkward questions about the “bring your own booze” gathering.
“The prime minister is not going anywhere,” he said.
“The prime minister still retains the confidence of the people of this country and he did so two years ago with the largest majority in decades.”
Manchester Gorton’s Labor MP also spoke of marking a ‘formal Eid’ at a time when Downing Street parties are believed – when his ‘lovely mother’ died of Covid in March 2020.
He said: “She died alone in the hospital while I sat in the car outside, trying to be as close to her as I could.”
