Helen Skelton got the job of presenting Channel 4’s Super League after her pro player husband broke her heart by dating biss’ daughter.
The Countryfile presenter, 38, who is still “bewildered” by the breakdown of his marriage to rugby player Richie Myler, will air in June.
News of Helen’s new job comes just days after it was reported that Richie, 31, was dating Stephanie Thirlkill, 32, just a week after her split from Helen was announced.
Andrew, Stephanie’s father, is estimated to be worth £175 million and is one of the wealthiest businessmen in Leeds.
Richie is said to be on vacation with his new girlfriend to attract the attention of the public.

Helen took to Instagram last week to share the news, after the pair have been together for nine years.
Regarding her story, she told fans: “Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple.
“He has left the family home. We will do our best to be parents to our little ones. ”

Richie died just four months after Helen gave birth to their third child Elsie, the couple also had Louise, four, and six-year-old Ernie.
A source told MailOnline: “Helen is absolutely devastated. She is now contemplating life without him while he has moved on with his new partner.
“Richie insists it’s no big deal, that he started a romance with Stephanie after their marriage fell apart, but Helen is frustrated.

“They’re still married and their baby is literally four months old. She thought their marriage was safe and secure and was completely shocked by what had happened.”
Just days after the split was announced, Helen was absent from Countryfile, prompting fans to express their support.
Sunday’s show was hosted by Adam Henson and Anita Rani when viewers noticed Helen’s absence.
Helen’s rep declined to comment.
