TV presenter Helen Skelton is said to be joining the lineup for the next season of Serious Dance Games.
The announcer will join previously announced contestants for the 20th series of the BBC’s popular dance competition, which is scheduled to return in September.
The current lineup includes Bros star Matt Goss, radio host Kiss Tyler West, Paralympic swimming gold medalist Ellie Simmonds, comedian and actor Jayde Adams, Coronation Street actors Will Mellor and Kym Marsh, Loose Women star Kaye Adams and Radio 2’s Richie Anderson.
Ted Lasso actress Ellie Taylor is the latest celebrity to be officially announced, revealing the news on ITV’s Lorraine on Tuesday.
The addition of Skelton, 39, to the list was initially reported by The Sun.
She was recently confirmed as the new host of Radio 5 Live on Sunday morning, after host Laura Whitmore announced her departure.
Skelton began her career presenting on Blue Peter in 2008, before going on to present BBC One’s Countryfile, a role she has held since 2014.
